Riding lessons
Six routes into riding, from a first lead-rein lesson to schooling a horse you already know well. Every new rider begins with a 30-minute Assessment Lesson.
For anyone who has never sat on a horse — or hasn't ridden in years. Focused on balance, position and confidence.
Young riders learn to lead, care for and ride a pony in an environment built around encouragement.
Whether you're starting late or returning after a break, lessons are shaped around what you want from riding.
One-to-one teaching for the fastest progress, or for riders who prefer quieter, individual attention.
Ride alongside others at a similar stage — sociable, motivating and the way many riders progress.
Flatwork, jumping and schooling for riders who already have a secure canter and want more refinement.

Children & Pony Club
Children arrive excited, nervous, or both — and usually with a parent who has more questions than they do. Young riders learn to lead a pony, brush a mane, sit tall and trust the animal underneath them, one small win at a time.

How it works
Five short questions about age, experience and what you'd like from riding.
Every new rider begins with a 30-minute assessment, whatever their experience.
The team sees you ride and understands how best to teach you.
You're placed into the lessons that genuinely suit your stage.

Livery
Berkshire Riding Centre offers full livery only, with individual care, a consistent routine and people who notice when something isn't quite right. Summer turnout across seven paddocks, three illuminated all-weather schools and hacking close to Windsor Great Park.
BHS training
A BHS Approved centre and a BHS Where to Train centre — for riders thinking beyond the next lesson, towards qualifications and a career with horses.

Questions
The questions reception is asked most often, answered plainly.
Every new rider begins with a 30-minute Assessment Lesson. Answer the five questions in the rider journey and your details are ready for the team taking that assessment.
The assessment applies to everyone, whatever their experience. It lets an instructor see how you ride rather than rely on a form, so your ongoing lessons start at the right level.
You don't need to know. Book the Assessment Lesson and the team places you into the group or private lessons that suit your stage.
Children are taught, including complete beginners, from age 4. Younger riders start on the lead rein with a pony chosen for them.
More than thirty well-schooled horses and ponies, so riders are matched to a suitable one rather than whatever happens to be free.
